Experience Championship Golf at Glenbervie

Glenbervie has earned its place in Scottish golf history by hosting some of the UK’s most prestigious tournaments and welcoming many of the world’s top players. Designed by the legendary James Braid, the course makes full use of the parkland’s natural beauty, contours, and native hazards. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Ochil Hills, Braid created an elite golfing experience that continues to challenge and inspire professionals and amateurs more than 80 years on. Few inland courses anywhere in the world offer such a remarkable setting.

Tranquil, Scenic, and Surprisingly Accessible

Although the course sits just minutes from nearby towns—and only 30 minutes from both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports—you’ll feel a world away from everyday life. Glenbervie’s peaceful parkland, rich with mature trees and diverse flora, creates the ideal environment to relax, focus, and enjoy your game.

A Course That Rewards Skill and Strategy

Glenbervie features natural elevations, sweeping vistas, and a challenging par of 71. One of the course’s most memorable views greets you immediately: the 14th fairway, stretching out beneath the clubhouse towards the Ochil Hills. This exceptional 409-yard par 4 plays slightly uphill and often into the wind, demanding a confident tee shot and a committed long approach to a two-tier green.

Equally testing is the stroke-index 1 hole, the 9th. This 435-yard, dog-legged par 4 requires an accurate uphill drive, with out of bounds lurking to the right. A strong position off the tee reveals a downhill approach to a well-protected green—rewarding only those who combine precision with smart course management.
