Practice Facilities

Whether you’re looking to fine-tune your swing, or simply enjoy some time on the putting green, our practice facilities provide the perfect setting.

Our practice area is designed for golfers of all levels—from beginners finding their rhythm to seasoned players sharpening every shot. With well-maintained tees, target greens, and dedicated practice areas you can take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and make the most of your practice session.

Driving Range

The driving range at Glenbervie is flat, generously wide, and stretches over 300 yards, allowing golfers to use every club in the bag, including the driver. Range balls are provided at a nominal cost for the convenience of members and visiting golfers. Seven undercover practice bays and all-weather hitting surfaces ensure effective practice in any conditions.
Please note: this is a members’ facility and is not open to the general public.

Short Game Area

For members looking to practise their chipping, bunker play, and putting, Glenbervie offers a dedicated short game practice area. This space features a sizeable putting green with multiple pin positions, surrounded by roll-off areas and bunkers, allowing golfers to work on every short game shot from 50 yards and in.

Academy Course

Complementing the driving range and short game area are four par-3 practice holes, designed to give beginners the experience of playing on proper holes while allowing seasoned golfers to refine their crucial short-iron game. Located on land adjacent to the 4th and 5th holes of the main course, these practice holes provide the same tranquil ambience as the James Braid–designed championship course.
