The driving range at Glenbervie is flat, generously broad, and over 300 yards in length, allowing all clubs including driver to be hit. For the benefit of members and golfing visitors, range balls (at a nominal cost) are provided for use at the range. The range's two under-cover practice bays, and all-weather hitting surfaces, allow for effective practice whatever the weather. (Please note this is a members facility and not open to the general public)
For those members wanting to practice their chipping and bunker shots from around the green, plus putting, Glenbervie provides a short game practice area. This area has a sizeable putting green with multiple pins, surrounded by roll-off areas and bunkering enabling practice of all short game shots from 50 yards in.
Complementing the driving range and short game practice area are four par 3 practice holes, designed to let beginners try out 'real' golf on proper holes, and seasoned players hone their all important short-iron game. Situated on land adjacent to the 4th and 5th holes on the main course, these practice holes offer the same peaceful ambience as the James Braid designed championship course.
